What Peopl is
Peopl is an online marketplace that connects people who need help with everyday tasks (“Requesters”) with people willing to provide that help (“Helpers”). Peopl provides the platform only. Peopl is not a party to any agreement between users and does not employ Helpers.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Peopl.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login details secure. The information you provide must be accurate and up to date.
Agreements between users
Requesters and Helpers agree on the work, the timing and the hourly rate directly with each other. Payment is made directly between users: Peopl does not process payments, does not charge fees and does not take a cut. Peopl is not responsible for payment disputes between users.
Verification
Some Helpers verify their identity with a live selfie and show a Verified badge. Verification confirms identity only — it is not a background check, an endorsement, or a guarantee of quality or safety.
Acceptable use
No illegal activity, harassment, fraud, impersonation, or false information. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Safety
For a first job, meet in a public place, keep your communication inside the app, and use your own judgment about who you work with.
Liability
Peopl is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peopl is not liable for the actions of its users or for agreements made between them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use Peopl after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Questions: support@peopl.world.
